Fall Colors in Tennessee

Hello from the beautiful state of Tennessee!

It’s been two years since we last experienced a fall full of orange and yellow hues. Our last two falls were spent in the desert (Palm Springs, California and Tucson, Arizona), so we are fully embracing the chill in the air and the changing of the seasons. In October we took a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and experienced fall at its fullest. We definitely plan on going back to explore the park in the early spring.

We’ve only been here for a couple months and have been able to cross off several spots and experiences off our list, including honky tonkin’ in downtown Nashville. For country music lovers like Jake and myself, we have enjoyed the amount of hidden talent filling the bars of Music City. We also had the opportunity to visit the iconic house of country - the Grand Ole Opry and saw some amazing artists preform, like Chase Rice and Jon Pardi.

Christmas is around the corner and we can’t wait to see the city covered in twinkling lights and the holiday adventures that follow.
